American Red Cross Blood Mobile
As always, Blood Mobile takes place in Alumni Hall. We are currently seeking volunteers to donate blood or their time at the drive, or to recruit other volunteers at lobby tables. The American Red Cross Blood Drive is co-coordinated by the Student Center. For general information, please call the Information Desk at (860) 832-1970.
The Student Center has a long relationship with the American Red Cross Blood Drive, and we have some awards to prove it!
- 1981 Mildred K. Barrows award for support of the American Red Cross through its participation in the Blood Drive.
- 1991 Award for the Greatest % of Participation from a University or College of 4,000 or more students... 5%!
- 2002 Merit Award for participation in the American Red Cross Blood Drive
- 2003 Merit Award for contributions to the American Red Cross through participation in the Blood Drive
